If you're eagerly awaiting the iOS 18 update, you might not have given much thought to the Settings app. However, Mark Gurman from Bloomberg recently announced on Twitter that this app will have a new look. Gurman stated: "Many macOS 15 and iOS 18 users mention the renovation of the Settings app. It's not huge, but it will feature a new interface with a reorganized layout that is cleaner and easier to navigate. Additionally, search is greatly improved. There are also updates for Control Center.

On June 10, at WWDC 2024, Apple will unveil iOS 18 and its AI initiative. The event is expected to highlight major enhancements in both software and AI capabilities. Following the announcement, the first developer beta versions will be available, providing early access to new features such as an overhauled Settings app and an improved Control Center.

The public beta will be released the following month, allowing a broader audience to test and provide feedback on the upcoming features before the official launch. Additionally, there will likely be sessions and workshops at WWDC to help developers integrate the new AI tools into their apps, enhancing functionality and user experience.

Many users will be interested in the new AI features included in iOS 18, but it's important to remember that beta versions are not stable and may lack essential functions. 1. Visit the Apple Beta Software Program website.
  2. Click "Sign up" or "Sign in" if you already have an account.
  3. After logging in, go to Settings > General > Software Update.
  4. Under "Beta Updates," you have three options:
    • Off: You won't receive any beta software.
    • iOS 18 Public Beta: To receive the public beta.
    • iOS 18 Developer Beta: To receive the developer beta.

After selecting your desired option, the beta update will appear on your screen when it becomes available.

By following these steps, you'll be ready to explore the exciting new features and improvements in iOS 18. Remember to provide feedback to help Apple refine the software before its official release.
